>>>It's true that striking down ACA = no more heath care for millions of people.
>
>By this logic, the ACA erased healthcare for millions of people by disallowing their preferred cheap plans.
>
>The main difference back then was that affected people, including a high profile poster here, never trumpeted that they were denied healthcare altogether. You're linking yourself and your beliefs to alarmist logic and risk being portrayed in upcoming elections as fearmongering extremists who will urge failure for millions of fellow Americans if it means you can have another crack at Trump.
>
>>>I think that people in the poor and republican states will get screwed, and that you could care less if Americans have healthcare or not because you're not a citizen and thus it has nothing to do with you.
>
>Actually on face value it's beneficiaries of Medicaid expansion at highest risk, and they're mostly in blue states (third time I've made this point here, fwiw). As for "nothing to do with me" - perhaps healthcare funding is my job.
>
>>>Let me ask you this - -how do you like the healthcare system in New Zealand??? I don't know much at all about it, but it's my understanding that the public healthcare system in New Zealand gives residents access to free or heavily-subsidised hospital care, as well as emergency treatment. You have a problem with it there and think our system is better or something?
>
>I've never suggested any superiority or otherwise, though I wuld quote the Commonwealth Institute that credits NZ with high quality care for a fraction of the cost paid in the US, not even including those millions without access in the US. NZ does have some lessons wrt immigration and funding, also wrt the Accident Compensation Commission that provides care and compensation for anybody injured inside NZ's territory whether they contributed to the scheme or not, but is there a lot of point expanding on this when you ignore every substantive point I've raised earlier?

Your "substantive points" are just a fantasy that the GOP actually does not want to take way health care away from people -- it's just a baseless ridiculous statement that merits no response.
And back to your healthcare system -- if it works so well for you there then what the hell have you got against us trying it here? Or do you think that's what the GOP is trying to do here lol lol lol ??
