>>This morning I saw this of TV from the Florida Department of Health "“individuals who have traveled internationally should self-isolate for 14 days following their date of return to the United States.”

Yes. Down here some people seem surprised that visitors who are told to self-isolate, instead keep venturing from their hotel rooms claiming they need to eat!

Sheesh, even locals returning from overseas trips can't be expected to subsist on a few cans of beans or whatever might have been left in the cupboard.

>>Meanwhile 250 deaths last week from H1N1 - Doesn't count because H1N1 is "under control". They don't even try to count cases just "outbreaks" based on the % of people who seek medical attention and have H1N1.

Agreed... one of the medical experts just said that Corona behaves like flu and there was strong consensus that everybody should try to take care of the elderly who are most at risk from COVID-19.

The WH press briefing was interesting. Reporter after reporter gasped at market falls or sought criticism of Trump. Pence asked that everybody make an effort to work together and observed that governors on both sides are all working together in the interests of the US people. Lost on the reporters, I suspect. Always interested to see their rendition of events now that the WH live streams so there's no monopoly on facts.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
"
-- Shakespeare: Coriolanus, Act 1, scene 1
