This wasn't a gaffe....it was a BIG Freudian slip. It confirms the DNC leadership's unwillingness to see blacks as individuals, instead of a single voting bloc. The DNC can try to wiggle out of this all they want, but they believe that they "own" (in a figurative sense) blacks.
