>>Apparently various education groups are advocating for dropping Shakespeare from school/university curriculums as his work “is full of misogyny, racism, homophobia, class discrimination, anti-Semitism”. I'm sure Chaucer and Dickens must be on the firing line. Homer and the Iliad also looking to be cancelled amongst many more. no doubt.

>This retroactive banning of most of the history is Fahrenheit 451 all over. The six politically correct authors they manage to collect will be mediocre at best, moronic in the median.

Ban history and you destroy the connection to the past. Orwell foresaw it: “Who controls the past controls the future. Who controls the present controls the past.” - 1984. We are well on the way and I see no way to stop it. History repeats.
In the End, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends - Martin Luther King, Jr.
