>Interesting. So far have not had to use Lenovo services much - once re an audio driver that was knocked out by a Win 10 update and they did not get anywhere. Lots of people online with same problem. I have both HP and Lenovo at home. Have to say that my HP laptop is still running after a LONG time. I also have a Lenovo laptop - not as old but so far okay. Desktops have all been HP. As a small reseller, the margins were better with Lenovo so got sucked in. But now wondering about going back to HP.
Don't. HP was taken over by a bunch of scumbags long ago. We had trouble with each piece of HP hardware we bought, and in both laptops which malfunctioned it was an engineering problem they knew about and bet that it will occur after the warranty expires. As for the printer, it would print, but it would print indefinitely once the bug emerged - it would just endlessly run self-test until you turn it off or it runs out of paper. And I did mention here, when it occurred, that they ran the false rebate scam - you send them the barcode and the bill, and then they claim you didn't, and since you sent the originals you have no proof you did.
Once I bought a pack of CDs to burn, under a HP label, and more than 90% of them were faulty, they couldn't be read on anything but sunlight...
