I haven't looked at XSharp.
I still support some VFP apps, but all new work is in .NET.
One thing I miss in .NET is the VFP report writer. SSRS is OK, but it's primitive compared to the VFP version. I wish someone at MS would figure that out and upgrade SSRS.
Keeping up with .NET is almost a full time job and at my stage in life, a full time job is the last thing I want - especially with nice weather on the way.
Anyone who does not go overboard- deserves to.
