>>>Don't bully me to not to push better practices and ignore facts.
>>
>>Mike, I'm not bullying you. I'm trying to get you to screw your head on straight.
>>
>>If you don't understand the difference between promoting good practices and common sense, versus these "crappy coder" rants that clearly are laced with personal baggage and invective , then maybe you're not getting half the kicking around you need.
>>
>>Yes, I've seen apps that were suppose to reset a counter or handle a recycle gracefully, and either kept assigning dupe numbers or did something that caused major issues. Here's a news flash: this industry in practice has never been more than a craft at best. Last week I discovered something in Microsoft Power BI in their "analytics" area that had me dumb-founded. It happens.
>>
>>Here's an idea: start a blog or a regular series of these "anti-patterns" (for lack of a better term). I used to have a community session for SQL Server user groups on T-SQL no-nos....things that the product allows you to do, but you shouldn't.
>>
>>You can go a long way towards doing something positive with this, instead of these crybaby-like rants. You are not a victim (except maybe of yourself).

>I had a history with Walter and he is the one that refuses to stop bothering me. In my exposure to him, via a mutual acquaintance that I taught a lot of FoxPro to, I ended up not working with either of them because they made crappy software and had a lot of stupid ideas. I have been the recipient of his targeted harassment for a long time. Just because you are unaware of this, does not mean it is not happening.

Lies, lies, lies, You ended up not working with us, because I had to fire you because rather than doing what was asked from you tried to sneak yourself into the application design with stupid recommendations like one PRG per function and one class per classlib. You were in no position to do that.

If you keep on smearing my name or my products, don't complain me attacking you.

That crappy software you are talking about is installed in top medical centres at five continents. Not just private clinics, but academical centres like 5 of the top 10 US centres. You're are not only insulting me but also a few others on this forum who contributed to this software and the clients who are using it.

You only saw a beta - product at a beta site that was a transition from an earlier form to what it is now. A VFP / .NET product using techniques you have no idea about.

Stop the BS mike. That is the only way for getting me off your back.
