Yupp, and this worries me a lot on US political system. Falling back on "quasi-aristocratic" families for candidates or the VP **not** elevated as candidate in 2016 as he was considered too old....

Must say I have no info on Kamela (besides some remarks from Kevin), but the tone of approval after nominating her (less on accomplishments, more on political balancing and harvesting votes not entirely pro Biden) were depressing. Or: the real surprise winner of VP debate was the fly...
