>>My two favorite pastimes are golf and painting.

>Don't worry about me challenging you to a round of golf while you are less than 100%. I had a small black spot (about the size of a pencil eraser ) on my right foot in August. I went to the doctor about the middle of the month. About the first of November they finished cleaning out my right leg arteries and cutting out the dead flesh. It left a hole about the size of a golf ball cut in half. I've been in a hard cast since then but everything is healing. Maybe a couple more weeks.

>Anyway, a very Merry Christmas to you and yours.

Thanks, I'm glad you like the painting. It made one of my most popular Christmas cards.

Wow- that's a bummer, but you might be lucky that they caught it and dealt with it.
Every golfer I know is revved up about watching Charlie Woods this coming weekend, so even in our passive states we can enjoy the action.
Golf is one of the few sports that we can can play at any age.
One regret is that I didn't have YouTube when I was learning the game. My technique now is better than ever, but the body - well it is what it is.

I won't say Merry Christmas - that would be a stretch for you- but I hope that as time passes the new year brings healing and comfort.

Your Irish brethren in New Jersey will be pulling for you.
