>>>My two favorite pastimes are golf and painting.
>>>Weather and some physical issues - transitory, I hope- have taken golf off the table right now so painting comes to the fore.
>>>Each year Lenox China, headquartered in nearby Trenton, NJ creates a Christmas figurine. This is one of my favorites, so I painted a version of it that I’ve used as one of the images for the Christmas cards I create every year.

>>Don't worry about me challenging you to a round of golf while you are less than 100%. I had a small black spot (about the size of a pencil eraser ) on my right foot in August. I went to the doctor about the middle of the month. About the first of November they finished cleaning out my right leg arteries and cutting out the dead flesh. It left a hole about the size of a golf ball cut in half. I've been in a hard cast since then but everything is healing. Maybe a couple more weeks.

>>Anyway, a very Merry Christmas to you and yours.

I can't agree with you more, except my game is tennis instead of golf. I have been playing tennis since very young and never learned the proper technique. Now, I am addicted to all YouTube Tennis coaching videos. I have improved my technique a lot. Won a local championship 2 years ago. Now I am on the sideline with a bad tennis elbow injury, probably for the entire winter. It sucks!

The good news is, I play - in the summer - with a 80-yo guy and he plays very well. Does not move as well but the technique is good. He is in Florida now. I hope I will be back playing till, at least, his age.
