>Normally ? ON('KEY', 'F1') returns northing since it's mapped to the default (namely the help system). If you get some sort of string, issue PUSH KEY CLEAR from the command window to reset it. This is a real shot in the dark on my part, however, and I seriously doubt that it'll work, but you might give it a shot anyway, and try F1 to see if help comes up.
