Not really a problem, Tore gave you samples of code (and I tried M$ outside process for a while, it's ugly and not too precise, so I too wrote my own), it's the word 'upload' that may be a problem. Because, if it's a FTP or other external process, I'm not sure how and when would it let you call your code to update the progress bar*. If it's a VFP process that you want to track, just pick some place in it where you'd check for a certain condition - say, „did it move at least 2% since the last update“, and if condition met, update the bar.
