Looks like either Chilkat or wwIPStuff will give me what I need for the communication, so looking for opinions. (If I go with Chilkat, I'll probably use Bill Anderson's new VFPX wrapper class for it.)

Thanks. As I said to Victor, FTP isn't relevant here. Need to POST and get responses for now. Later may need to be able to send email and to send texts.
