Hi Lutz,

>>GoFish is of latest Version, 5.1.009?

It is now! ;-)

>>What happens if you issue ?_vfp.projects.count on command line?

OLE error code 0x8002801d: Library not registered.

>>Do you have more then one project open?
>>If, can you close projects one by one?
>>What is the return if no project is open?

Same errors with 0, 1 or n projects open.

>>Looking up the GoFish code I'm puzzled what code you are running. The only occurrence of .projects.count so far will not be reached, because I don't see a call for the method. Can you give the location of the error?

First error is

Property PROJECTS is not found.

Debugger call stack shows current proc is gofishsearchengine.buildprojectscollection .

As I'm running the app, Debugger trace shows "Source not Available" but presumably it's a symptom of the same disease. Later today I'll try to get the Gofish source running so I can get a proper trace.

Thinking back, I'm pretty sure this happened towards the middle of the day yesterday. Early on, no prob with Gofish or automated builder; later on, Gofish error cascade was first sign of issue. I had expected that deleting foxuser.* (and foxtask.*) would fix it, but no.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
