>>What can you expect? Code in a fox-like environment, with a vfp-like syntax and produce code that runs fiffy times faster than an interpreter à la fox or python. This >"mojo" will possibly be a killer of python C-based extensions, or compilers à la numba, lpython, pythran and others. Still an alpha project but already very promising:

>As a long time python user it is impressive to see what MOJO has been able to do. However, I doubt it will match Fox. You see - speed what not the issue with FOX. The big deal with FOX was the data aware controls. So far MOJO does not have a UI. You can't use wxPython, PyQT, or even tkinter. But there are a couple of new UI tools. Flex and Reflex. Both of these are able to create web apps and Flex can even create a mobile app for the Iphone. However, neither have data aware controls. You can design/add code to get it done but again that's a lot of work.
Didn't you forget something? That work's already been done... in Dabo :).
