Yes, unfortunately. The reason that I placed the query is because the column lines will not disappear when the column's width is set to zero. Because each column will have a column line (if columnlines set on), when the grid is being "scrolled", the column lines sit next to each other, thickening the right edge of the last "locked" column. If there are a large number of columns which are not locked, the column lines look nearly as thick as a column in their own right.
