I don't know what the MSCOMCTLX.OCX is, but the error 485 is familiar...

Another component that MSCOMCTLX.OCX needs either cannot be found, or has not been registered on the box in spite of having been copied into place. I'll try to find a list of dependencies for you tomorrow; I'm on the way out the door to our company Xmas party, and with a little luck, should be in no shape to look at a computer screen in a few minutes...

If you know what all the .DLLs were that you copied in with the control, try registering them first. If you're having problems with COMCAT.DLL, copy the one from the VFP98 Distrib.src directory to somewhere on the user's drive, register the copy, and try registering MSCOMCTLX.OCX after that.
