>>Well Marcus I gave up. I needed to get this project out of here to I ditched VFP6.0. I looked at all the threads you suggested and saw no concreate solution, just a lot of talk about who's falt it was. Personally, I think falt is not relevant here as we have a product that fails with the most popular printer - opperating system combination on the market! This makes the program dangerous at best and usless at worst. I will stick to 5 for now until I see a better solution.

>I totally agree! I consider this a major issue for my application, I can't believe the MS doesn't consider it one. Maybe they think, " Nobody uses HP printers anyway, do they?" Well about 50% of my users do. With the number of patches and service packs they've already put out I can't believe they haven't addressed this issue. Unfortunately, I went from VFP3 to 6, and have decided to bite the bullet and switch affected users to the MS laserjet 4 drivers if I have to. Perhaps the holiday season will spark a Christmas miracle and they'll release a patch in time! However, I've been at Microsoft during the holidays, a pretty lonely place. I don't count on much getting done in the next few weeks. Good Luck.

Merry Xmas Marcus
Thanks for the support. It's great at least not to be alone.
Terry
It is impossible to make programs idiot proof. Idiots are too cleaver.
