Agreed... question... is it not possible to get whatever is generating this data to put it directly into the SQL table, either the temp one of the live one?
If not, could you have a VFP app, the constantly runs and moniors a directory for data being placed in it, then, when it is, it will be added to the server?

Got ya... sounds like an interesting project. I have never had to deal with so much data in any of my projects.
