This one gets trickier the deeper you dig. We are a call center with multiple servers. The server answers the phone and passes the call to whoever is able to take it. This program records info about the call (this is my data) in a compact text file. These calls are coming in at the rate of up to 100,000 per day across seven servers. They need FULL speed to handle these calls.

At midnight, a monitoring PC gathers all the servers data into a FoxPro table. I am attempting to transfer this to SQL Server. Data is only then used to produce reports although, with the mods I'm making alongside this testing, there will be links to other data which will then be transferred to SQL! Some project this!
