This may be totally off the wall but I have found that I could clear up some of my C0000005 errors (in 6, though) by getting rid of any Form or _SCREEN references after CLEAR EVENTS (let VFP clean itself up in an EXE). Don't know why it worked but it does. Also, I have found that ON SHUTDOWN CLEAR EVENTS can cause this problem as well.
