When it comes to network situation, a lot of factors can cause all kinds of strange situations. Try removing the network card and see if the problem still exist. We used the Intel cards (some PCI model) on NT server/client and I had never seen so many blue screens of death. After replacing the cards with 3Com, haven't had a lockup since.
hope this helps
>I have a client that uses three computers with Win98. All have the Laserjet 4 driver installed. The machine with the printers attached freeze when I attempt to print any reports. The other machines work fine. I can view the reports successfully, but when I try to print it freezes before the driver screen even pops up. Tried creating report to ASCII and copying file to lpt1 (inside VFP) and it freezes up. Prints from Wordpad, and DOS edit fine. This started happening when I switched my app from VFP3 to VFP6. Yes, I have all the patches, updates, etc... (assuming there have been no new ones in the last week) Any ideas out there? Something to do with the physical port? TIA
