Yes, Delphi programmers are a paranoid bunch, too. They think Inprise is focusing too much on C++ Builder and JBuilder which have more mainstream languages at their core. Also, they feel that Inprise is focusing so much on the enterprise that the "little guy" is getting left behind? Sound familiar?

The real money for Microsoft and others is in the enterprise. That's where they sign the 6+ figure deals. Inprise CEO Del Yocam has publically said that $250 developer packages can not ensure the future of Inprise.

As English continues to become the standard language for business, your would expect to see the same evolve in computer languages. It really makes sense. I don't agree with the Visual Studio approach. IMHO, it takes years to master just one of the products in VS.
