>Delbert,
> If you are using @SAY and @GET in VFP you are heading down a road of destruction. You need to be creating Forms with Visual FoxPro. In my opinion I would not count on @SAY and @GET being around much longer. Also there is no reason to use these constructs. They are for 2.x compatability only.

The course correction is what I am in the process of. But there is a LOT I do not understand... I am comming from the FOXBase + and some Foxpro 2.6 for DOS all the way to VFP 6. Its quite a shock but there are many things that I just LOVE.

I just don't Know how to get started with re-wrighting the order taking parts of my apps. How do I (Using the Forms) display more than one record on a form at a time? How so I have the text boxes for the next item appear after I have error checked the user input and saved the last item?

I was not trying to figure out how to use @ say,s I guess I was asking what others had done to replace them.

Thanks for the reply and I see The Universal Thread as my best tool for getting me up to speed.....
