Randy,

Is the second form running already or are you using DO FORM in the Valid? What are the DataSessions of the two forms set to? What are the grid RowSources? Is there a control on the second form that can recieve focus?

>I have a form with a grid where the valid statement in the first column calls another form with a grid for lookup purposes. When I put a suspend in the code, and walk through it, everything works fine. When I take out the suspend, and just run the code, the select statement to select the table in the second form does not work. It just stays in the work area of the first grid.

I have even modified the call to the 2nd form, adding a parm for the alias of desired work area, but when I run the code without a suspend, it always ends up in the wrong work area. I have disabled the grid in the original form in one effort to get this to work correctly.
