Sometimes, it'll spew out 10 pages before I can stop it. I suspect the container might be bad because I opened it up in VFP 5.0 and then later restored it from a tape backup to reopen it with VFP 3.0. Does anybody know where i can look to solve this dilema?

I'd check printer controls from the Windows/Win95 Control Panel clear down to the printer saved with the report.

>Another easy check is to print a test page from Win95 Printer Contro. Also try to create a new simple report form an run it from the command window. Not to mention trying other applications, Word, Excel,... U get the idea. Is the problem in the report form? With the printer setup? With VFP? Did VFP 5.0 overwrite anything? U may want ot re-install VFP 3.0. Just some early morning thoughts... Steve

Thanks for the response, but I finally got it figured out. Two days later. The problem is with the LPT.VXD for Win95. I'm using a Compaq Deskpro 4000 /Pro 200. I finally got desparate and started scanning throught the Compaq Techsupport WebSite. I found that with this PC, the older LPT.VXD driver is not good. I needed the latest version which is Version 4.00.954. This cleared up all the problems. In the mean time, i'm busy undoing all of my modifications to my project.

One note: use caution when opening up containers with VFP 5.0 if you expect to still use VFP 3.0. When I just opened the project, VFP 5.0 seemed to overwrite all of the headers is most of my tables and forms. I had to restore the forms and project from backup and salvage the existing data and put it back into the tables. Quite a scare.

Thanks for everybody's help
