I'm likely to be updating my application to work with AutoCAD 14 instead of our current CAD software. I keep references to oft-used drawings in a VFP database (so far, I've been creating BMP's of each CAD image) but now I'd like to read the ACAD files directly (if possible) to eliminate having to keep duplicates up to date.
I'd like to avoid Whip - because it again requires extra steps (maybe not - I've heard of a whip generator that scans all the files in a directory structure).
Suggestions?
TIA
