>>I just tried accessing an LS120 on my W98 box from both VFP5 and 6, no problem. One oddity though, The LS120 is my A: drive if I boot to DOS, but it shows up as my B: drive in Windows!

No, I have the LS120 as the Master ,and my CD (40x) as a Slave on the secondary IDE port. My hard drive is the only thing on the primary IDE port. I think this is slowing down my CD, though. My hardrive and CD are type 4, and the LS120 is type 2. I should probably have both the type 4 devices on the same IDE port, but it used to be that would cause "compatiblity-mode" access on the hard drive. But since they are now both type 4, would that still be true?
