I would copy the classes.dbf file to the data directory of your ap, and change the Project to point to this ap specific classes.dbf.

Remember though, once you do this, you will have to manually maintain your ap level files when a new version of the Framework is updated.


Hi Bob, I thought I understood how to implement AbstractFactory for my own needs but now I'm a little confused. Following your suggestion above, wouldn't this mean that the only app level files that would need maintained with future framework updates is the classes.dbf stored in the app's data directory, and any changes you might want to make to the custom class your using as a substitute?
