Using VFP 6. I have 2 separate apps, one for personnel and another for travel. Each app has its own directory location and DBC. I created an ODBC DSN for the travel app to access the Personnel DBC.

In the travel app, I created a remote view of the Staff table in the personnel DBC. The problem is the view opens and works great if NO ONE is running the Personnel App (exclusive is off, etc). If anyone is running the Personnel app, I get an error message in the Travel app when it tries to open the remote view -- Invalid or Missing memo file [Staff.fpt]. Granted the actual Staff table does have a memo field, but this field is not included in the remote view and I deselected the advanced view option to retrieve memo fields, etc.

What gives? TIA.
