>Marcus,
>All in all I would say stop using HP products. They not only cause troubles with VFP but servicing parts is the real suffer. One day they will request more than the prize of a brand new model just for replacing a fuse (believe me it hit us three times and we dropped using HP in all our systems - scanners, printers and computers). And just for an additional example HP RAM upgrades cost 3-4 times then any compatible RAMs on the market.

I would tend to agree, but I have over 1000 installations across the US. I do not provide hardware for these installations, and it gives my competition a lot of ammo if they can say 'They can't even use HP printers, the most popular printer in the world!!'. I have been having success with the =_fpreset. I've only put it in about 10 places. I tried this before without success. I put it in about 100 spots, but missed one SET PRINT TO statement. Thanks for the advice, and for the record, I DON'T use HP Laser products.
Marcus.
