Title:
Running Foxpro 2.6 in fast machines
I have a project that was written in foxpro 2.6 for windows. I know about the problem with running 2.6 on machines > 333 Mhz. In fact I used the fast cpu fix to update my exe and esl. I am using a 400 Mhz machine and I am still having problems. About 50% of the time my machine hangs. So anyway I have this project that I need to deliver to my client. This client has all 400+ Mhz machines. My questions is this: Does the .ESL (with the fast cpu patch applied) tend to hang up as much as the EXE or is it more stable. I don't have enough time to convert to VFP 5. I could run the 2.6 stuff in VFP OK but I can't modify anything in VFP unless I convert first, And thats a nightmare I just don't want to deal with.
TIA
Mike
