We just installed two networks and both have printer problems.
One network (two computers and one printer) has a printer connected to "LPT1 (ECP printer port)" on the computer running Win95. When we try to print from the remote computer (Win98), the printer, HP5L, immediately takes itself off line. Any suggestions? What's an ECP port?

On the other network we have two computers (Win95) and two printers (HP820C and HP890C). When printing through the network to the 820C everything seems to be working OK except the printer won't print anything. There's no error or anything. The output to the printer just gets lost somewhere. The HP890 works fine.

If anyone has any ideas about either or both of these problems I would love to hear them.

Thanks,
Allen
