>It's possible. HP drivers and VFP have never gotten along very well. Then again, it's not just VFP. Their plotter drivers (and printers, too!) used to have all kinds of problems with AutoCAD. We've been out of that business for quite awhile now, but that was through release 13 there were major problems. We usually had to use other plotter/printer drivers (give up features) or wait for AutoDesk to come out with their own driver for the device. HP could never get it right, even though they'd come out with a new version about every 3 weeks or so. Great hardware, lousy software.
Hi Fred,
Well this is a strange one. It happen primarily on HPs that are in heavy use. Somehow they lock us my app -- even if only previewing the report rather than actually printing it.
If I don't need access to the menus right away, it's fine since the problem eventually goes away. Quite odd!!
