That's right. Look at the Expr Field of the first record of the report (.FRX) for a list of the features that are saved. The others features are set at runtime.

This is known as inheritance :). It dates back from the time Foxpro was an end user tool, has it ever been?, and the idea was that you create a report and that this report was smart enough to remember a few things about the report you created at run time.
VFP being a programming language, this stands more a nuisance, but it never got to the re-drawing board. My guess is that they lost the sources :).
