Mike,
I meant:
SQLEXEC(lnHandle, "UPDATE QS36F.GMBIAP6 SET GMBIAP6.WSBTC = 'Y';
WHERE GMBIAP6.WDC=' ' AND GMBIAP6.WSBTC = ' '")
& I still receive the token error with it. I was desperately trying everything to get past the error. I tried reversing single & double quotes, changing AND to &. I tried replacing QS36F.GMBIAP6 with QS36F!GMBIAP6.
We are using Client Access V3R1M2. I guess I'm going to have to get that book, because I can't find anything in help to get around this error. I've searched a few web sites hoping to find a solution, but have failed.
So the above command should work? I don't understand why I can retrieve the records through the connection, but not update them.
Thanks again for your help! If you have other recommendations, please send them my way! :)
