You are right, there is ALOT more to it, and each person must be evaluated seperatly, what one person can learn in a week, takes another person a year.

However, I know I have been programming in FoxPro, now VFP for almost 5 years... add my Clipper to that, I have been working with .DBF files and xBase for over 8 years... and I know there are still things, and techniques that I am learning today, even though I rate myself as proficient in VFP.

Heck, I havn't used VB for several years, and I am sure I can program circles around some of the VB 'gurus' that I know. IN VB!

Ok, I'll get off the soapbox now.
