Hi Steve,
Thks,...but I tried to modify the structure of the dbf file but I can't seem to alter the date from 8 to 10 spaces...

>>I am using VFP 6.0,....In the data environment of the report form INIT EVET has the following: Set Date to British and Set Century ON
>>
>>However, still can't seem to dislay 4-digit year n my reports.

>Check to see what the short date style setting is on the Date tab of the Regional Settings control panel. If VFP is configured to Use System Setting on the Regional tab of Tools|Options, it will use the Windows setting even with CENTURY ON. This one bit me with VFP 5. I knew my main program and all my date environemnts had CENTURY ON but I was getting 2 digit years. Changing the control panel fixed the problem.
