Jason,

Yes, I would say that queries/views and forms would be the next logical step. Before you get too much further, though, you should enter some test data and browse the tables with relations set, etc. This will give you an idea of how you want to go about building queries and views for your forms and reports. Becoming familiar with the query and view builders will be a great asset to your development process and doing so will be greatly enhanced by having good data to start with (you can verify that your joins are working etc.)

Once you have built queries and views (I suggest queries for reports and read-only recordsets, views for forms) you can start tackling the reporting requirements and/or the GUI components (forms, menus, etc.)

Some good third party books would be of great assistance for you as well as right here on the UT.
