Well, I have tried this and I got a number of errors because these properties appear to be Read-Only.
My way of doing it (I'm not sure it's the bast way), is to narrow the MinDate and MaxDate properties to the date we want to set, and as a side effect, the value property is changed to this date.

Programmatically, I cannot set the "format" property. VFP rejects this and says that this is an event (Method, Object or event). I find it also very strange to have a "Format" property and a "Format" event !
