This is only available at design time.

You can write expression to properties by just assigning them. Methods can only only be written to when the form is in design mode. Method code has to be compiled to run, and by the time your form is running, it has already been compiled.

The WriteExpression method was menat for use in builders, and form wizards, not runtime wizards.
