Sorry to hear you and your company are not big VFP fans. I have been very impressed with product Microsoft has put together and equally impressed with job Oakleaf has done in developing the Mere Mortals framework.

I have to agree with Bob that the explanation is pretty step by step and the documentation as a whole is top notch. Based on your attitude, I am not sure your heart is really into VFP development and as such you are blaming (wrongly) the tools. I have put together parent-child relationships with the framework and it works perfectly. I shutter to think at the effort it would take me to reproduce this kind of funcionality without the framework.
