Actually I have been developing VFP apps for 15 years, of course it was FoxBase then and MS didn't own it.

There is no documentation on applying Parent-child relationships in the 3.01 docs. Period, end of discussion. If you are using a later version be happy that they updated this part.

And, actually I was doing Parent - child relations before there were frameworks, the reason to buy one is to simplify and have documentation showing what is used in the real world.
