I did find one thing. I have only one project where I use PRINT PROMPT in a standalone EXE, and it is just a simple utility. In the startup, it sets _SCREEN.Visible = .F.. This evidently allows the prompt screen to get keyboard focus, because if I set it to .T., it cannot.
Anyway, maybe this will lead to something.... :)

>That's the bizarre thing. Tab, or any other keyboard input doesn't generate a response from the printer prompt. Even more bizarre -- if I run the exe from with in VFP -- the printer prompt recognizes keyboard input. It's when I run the exe from explorer that the printer prompt looses interest in the keyboard.
