I was subclassing the ImageList, using the .Object syntax the in prg to set the various ActiveX properties and the position (like .Top = nnn) on the form (don't ask why, just chalk up to my nit-picky nature about these things). That was generating a syntax error the first time through. I'd try a fix and the second time...C5 reared up.

Once I removed the position properties, the syntax error went bye-bye as did the C5. So one thing I learned is not to try to position the ImageList within the prg. Thinking that the syntax error was involved, I re-tried it several times last night getting only the syntax error, and no C5. So I'm chalking it up to something else I was doing (but have conveniently forgotten. I do that when it's something really embarrassing< s >.)
