May be this could help. In the facility where i'm working now, we have a
time tracking system in FPW linked to Goldmine. It accesses the Goldmine
table by using a third party library. I don't know the name of the library
since I'm not working on that software and I've only been there 3 months.

It was calling a function called DBEXEC from that library. This function
handles all access to the Goldmine table and has SQL like parameters. This library does not work alone though, it requires an ODBC driver for Clipper/
DBase tables.
