Yes, there is another group defined below the first one in the hierarchy. I took it out but I'm still having the same problem.

Could it be that the report writer that we have is corrupted? I also noticed that if I put a second group into another report whose page numbering is working properly, two fields don't print out in the first detail line on the second page of the first grouping! This sounds like very flaky behavior to me.
