Microsoft has a file available for download, that includes the VFP runtime files
and a single HTML page that is supposed to test the users machine, and if they are not there, install the VFP runtime and register them.

I downloaded that file, hoping to get my application for my companies' intranet
online quickly, but the problem is this: I upload the files to the server and place a call to the HTML file, which is suppost to test and install if needed, the VFP runtime files, and while it appears to do the testing, nothing gets installed. I had added a redirect to the end of the file to invoke the APP
after that "installation" Thus far unsucessfully.

Do you recommend I abandon the Active Document method and go to simpler
HTML and ASP driven program? The main reason we chose the Active Document
method is because almost any microsoft machine has IE installed. One of Microsoft's tricks, is that in order to install any of their software, you are FORCED to install IE first.
