Thanks Dan. However, I don't think it was a "date" thing for me. I really don't know what happened but I'm pretty sure it wasn't something stupid (usually it's self-inflicted) I did this time. I just think my VFP "flipped" out this morning or my classlib somehow got corrupted or something.

FWIW, I just copied another similar class from a different project, made some modifications to it (I was dreading doing this BTW) and now I'm back on track. Yikes! I just hope similar thing doesn't happen again, although it probably will. Thanks again to you and everyone that responded.

>I know its a long shot but once, I had a very similar problem, and I could not get the VCX to recompile, although admittedly I wasn't forcing a compile. I had changed the system date to test parts of my app, and then changed some code in the VCX's. At a later time I reset the date and recompiled the app. I could not figure out why the code would not function and it was because the date of the VCX was a future date. As I said, I know its a long shot.
It's "my" world. You're just living in it.
