Hi Bob,
I had what sounds like similar problems as you with VFP6. I saw some references to printer driver problems in your thread, but not a lot on it. I was bombing about every 2 minutes at times trying to work in 6, and tried forever to figure out the problem. I had heard of problems in vfp5 with printer drivers, but had also heard they were fixed in 6, so it never crossed my mind that that would be the problem. The printer driver was suggested to me again, so I gave it a go. I had been using a HP6 driver, switched it to a HP4 driver, and all my problems went away. There is a MS KB article on this problem, and they give a fix using the _fpreset command. I haven't tried this myself because switching the driver fixed it, but it might work for you. The article is at:
http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/q183/5/22.aspYou might not be using this particular printer driver, but it does say 3rd party printer drivers, not just HP. To test, maybe you could just completely remove your current printer driver and see if it clears up. Hope this helps.
